The bill “On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation” regulating responsibility in the field of military registration (the “Bill”) was submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation back in 2019. On 25 July 2023, the Bill was adopted in the third reading and sent for approval to the Federal Council.
