Partner of the dispute resolution practice at Lidings Alexander Popelyuk will take part in the Eastern European Dispute Resolution Forum (EEDRF), scheduled to take place on September 20-22, 2018 in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.
The forum taking place third year in a row is designed to bring together the leading international and dispute resolution experts to discuss the most relevant trends and practices currently evolving in the sphere of dispute resolution in the CIS and Eastern Europe. This year’s meeting is devoted to “Experts and expertise” and designed to bring up the following issues for discussion: choice of experts and novel services they may provide; use of experts by the parties in the most efficient manner; experts from the Tribunal’s perspective.
Alexander Popelyuk, a highly qualified litigator who’s expertise within Lidings is focuses on support of commercial activity and judicial defense of clients’ interests in arbitrazh courts and courts of general jurisdiction, will moderate a session entitled Ask me discussing such issues, as: tribunals’ tools to manage the use of experts efficiently; “grey areas” when estimating losses; role of tribunal in appointment of experts and other relevant topics.
