Lidings’ Senior Associate Boris Malakhov will take part in the 3rd International IP Moot Court Competition ran within the 6th International Intellectual Property Forum, as an expert of the Jury Panel. The event is scheduled to take place February 21st at Moscow State Law Academy named after O.E. Kutafin (MSLA).
The forum will be devoted to the intellectual property issues as a basis for the country’s development. The main discussion topics will cover development of different regional brands, specifics of protecting intellectual property rights in journalism, pharmaceuticals, business, fashion industry and other spheres. Traditionally the event’s program will be enriched by the International IP Moot Court Competition annually organized for students passionate for IP.
Among the invited experts are Russian and international intellectual property specialists: representatives from Russian and foreign law schools, members of scientific organizations, public authorities, as well as leading legal practitioners — representatives of national and international law firms.
Boris Malakhov, Lidings’ Senior Associate, focused on dispute resolution and legal representation in all cases of infringement of intellectual property rights, will join the competition’s Jury Panel.
